The
eagerly awaited Lakes Course
opened its doors to members and their guests for the first time on
14th of February, 1999. Over 100 golfers took the opportunity to
test this, the latest addition to Blue Canyon, and indeed found it
to be a formidable test of golf. Probably the most talked about hole
was the 471 yard par 4, 18th, with its ever present long carry over
a canyon to a narrow green.
Blue
Canyon now has two championship courses... 36 challenging
holes with a choice of five tees on each... unlimited
pleasure.
Blessed with rare, natural
landscape, the concept of creating a world standard
championship golf course has been achieved with both our
courses - All golfers are challenged. Our two courses are
named The Canyon Course and The Lakes Course.
Two
large lakes dominate this former tin mine and rubber
plantation, and Japanese architect, Kato, wisely incorporated
these in the skilful routing of the course. |
