Phuket Country Club was the
first championship standard golf
course in Phuket island. It is
located about a 15 minutes drive
from Phuket town. The course is
fun and friendly. Set in a
valley, the fairways meandering
through the hills and limestone
cliffs traversing 3 distinct
environments:- six holes in
undulating hills, six holes on
the level and six holes through
landscape forest.
It is generally not humiliating
or intimidating (depending on
your temperament, of course!).
Wayward shots are not too
severely penalized.
Although high handicappers have
the best round of their lives
and keep coming back for more,
the low handicap golfers still
find the course quite a
challenge
Situated on the main road from
Phuket town to Patong Beach is
Phuket Country Club. Over
the main road you will find
the very exciting 9 holes ‘
Country Club Course' Also
called Phuket Country Club,
phase ll.
The course is separate from the
Old ( 18 hole ) Course of Phuket
Country Club
Possibly one of the best nine
hole layouts in Asia. This
course was rated recently by
Asian Golf Review magazine as
the best in Phuket. The Club
recommends that only those
holding handicaps lower than 24
should play this course.

When all the other courses are
busy you can almost have this
one to yourself. It has the
least amount of play as most
golfers think little of 9 hole
courses. The reward is that
there will be no regrets if you
tackle this monster.
